Common questions

My unit runs but does not cool. What is wrong?
Most commonly a refrigerant leak, a failing compressor, or a badly fouled coil restricting heat exchange. All three present the same way to a user, and all three need measurement rather than guesswork to distinguish.
Is it worth repairing an older unit?
Sometimes not. If the compressor has failed on a unit past roughly ten years, replacement is usually the better economic decision once running costs are included. We will tell you when that is the case rather than sell you a repair.
